Final Stage
This is the final stage of contingency planning; returning the business to its pre-disaster competitive position, or at least returning it as close to the position as is possible under the circumstances.
Re-Establishing Your Business
If a mandatory evacuation order was given, the first step to recovery is re-establishing your business. Only those businesses with re-entry placards, which are distributed in advance of an emergency, are allowed through police checkpoints.
Your Business Continuity Plan should be established, so once you’ve had time to assess any damage to your business, refer to that plan in order to reopen your business.
