Plaquemines Parish President Billy Nungesser Attends the National Hurricane Conference

Plaquemines Parish President Billy Nungesser attended the National Hurricane Convention in Orlando, FL last month in order to prepare for the upcoming storm season. Plaquemines Parish Director of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness, Guy Laigast also attended the event. Key speaker William Gray from the Department of Atmospheric Science at Colorado State University says fewer storms are expected to enter the Gulf of Mexico this storm season.
