Hurricane Preparedness Day, This Friday, June 1st

This Friday, June 1st, Plaquemines Parish will host its Annual Hurricane Preparedness Day. Local businesses and organizations will be present with valuable information to help you prepare for this hurricane season.
 
The National Weather Service Trailer will be at the auditorium which serves as a mobile command center and receives up-to-the-minute weather reports. Entergy, Red Cross, and the Louisiana State Police will have representatives there with information and tips for Plaquemines Parish residents.
