PENS Sponsored by Chevron Oronite Refinery and Phillips 66

The Plaquemines Parish Emergency Notification System (PENS) or Reverse 911 System was put into place in 2008 in order to alert residents of the Parish about Parish incidents and emergencies. The system is sponsored by the Chevron Oronite Refinery and Phillips 66.

Donations from the Chevron Oronite Refinery and Phillips 66 have paid for the PENS system since its origin in 2008. To register for PENS updates, go online to www.plaqueminesparish.com and click on the Homeland Security Emergency Preparedness tab on the left side of the page. Once there click on the Emergency Notification System link.
