The Plaquemines Parish Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness’ goal is to provide its residents and businesses with all the necessary information needed to plan for an emergency, disaster of any kind, or to report suspicious activity. Disasters can be in the form of weather related conditions or man-made disasters including a possible terrorist attack.
We encourage all residents and businesses to review the information provided and keep all important numbers and information where it is easily accessible should an emergency or disaster occur or to report suspicious activity. Plaquemines Parish will use this website, news stations, radio stations and, if necessary, our own emergency personnel to inform residents and businesses when and if it is necessary for you to take precautionary measures or should the need to evacuate arise.
Plaquemines Parish offers guidelines and assistance to all Parish residents for any Parish emergency. Whether you have special medical needs, do not have transportation or are in need of a shelter, simply locate and select the tab located to the right for more information. This Website contains all the information you need to help make all the necessary arrangements for you, your family and your pets.
